Great Customer Support
Well over the years, I have dealt with some bad customer support. But I'm happy to admit that I continue to be surprised with how nice the repair department is at Castle Creations. Like I had mentioned in my last post, the Sidewinder ESC and 4600 Brushless Motor combo I was running stopped working so I sent it in. I had bought it used so I had no receipt and therefore didn't qualify for free repair (turns out the previous owner had soldered to the board which is a no no). But for $80 (flat rate) they are sending me a brand new combo. To me this is fantastic, I had got the used one in a deal that had already paid for itself, so to have an option to spend $80 on a new unit vs. $190 in the LHS, I didn't even hesitate.
So now it is shipped today, and will be here in 4-6 days. Can't wait to throw it in the slash and get back into the action. Its been a slow summer so far as RC's go.
